Finding all of them doesn't unlock anything other than an achievement/trophy. Like in the first Modern Warfare, the game's levels are peppered with Intel Items (little laptops). The museum also holds every weapon that can be found in the game. By pressing a red button that the game says not to press, all the statues come to life, turning hostile. More of a playground than a mission, the game puts the player in a museum where they see statues of every character. The game also has a bonus mission, the museum.

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, they take control of five different characters: Private Joseph Allen, Sgt. Like in previous Call of Duty games, the player switches characters after each level. The game's plot unfolds over 18 levels (the first one serving as a tutorial) and offers four different difficulty levels, the hardest one being Veteran. Players cycle through a number of characters including a member of Task Force 141, led by Captain John 'Soap' MacTavish, one of the main protagonists of the first game.
